To our faithful patrons:
The 2021 Art Song Festival has been postponed to May 2022 due to COVID-19.
Please watch for announcements about upcoming events!
The Art Song Festival Board of Trustees grieves with the family of George Floyd. We are appalled at his callous murder, as well as those of Ahmaud Arbery, Tamir Rice, Breonna Taylor, and all of the other persons of color who have died at the hands of law enforcement and others who falsely deny that Black Lives Matter.
Art Song stands in solidarity with people of color and other oppressed communities who have been marginalized, ostracized, and dehumanized by generations of violence. We stand with peaceful protesters to demand a world of equity and human decency, with equal opportunity for all. Art Song stands for equality and diversity. We stand in the footsteps of our founder George Vassos, a pioneer for LGBTQ rights, and here rededicate Art Song to serving as a beacon for inclusion and dignity.
